Built in 1993 and expanded and remodeled in 2015, the terminal, with its beautiful palm and mesquite trees and gleaming interior terrazzo floors, boasts approximately 138,000 square feet. Approximately 2.4 million people pass through the terminal annually.

The McAllen International Airport is located in McAllen, Texas off Expressway 83 between 10th Street and Bicentennial Boulevard. The Airport is conveniently located directly across from La Plaza Mall, McAllen's premier shopping location!

The Airport offers easy access parking lots for short term, long term and economy parking. Rates are different for each lot but are reasonably priced to accommodate everyone's budget.

Amenities include free wireless internet access, restaurants, a bar, retail stores, electronic charging stations built into the terminal seating, shoeshine service, seven (7) in airport rental car counters, airline ticket counters, spacious baggage claim and lobby areas, six (6) airline gates, and easy access parking lots.

The Airport has redesigned the food and beverage venue. CoffeeZone now provides a full service menu offering a variety of food and beverage items for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
